Flying Supreme Claims Hong Kong $1 Million Bonus
Top performing NZB graduate Flying Supreme has claimed the HK$1 Million Hong Kong International Sale Graduate Bonus after a strong finish to his three-year-old campaign.
Rounding off the season with back to back wins over 1200m in the HK$850,000 Centurion Restaurant & Bar Handicap and the HK$850,000 Golden Years Handicap, Flying Supreme brought his season earnings to HK$2,677,250 sending him soaring to the top of the Bonus table.
By Waikato Stud's O'Reilly and out of the Danasinga mare Saucy, Flying Supreme has notched up an impressive four wins from ten career runs demonstrating the unlimited scope of this classy young sprinter. Flying Supreme is owned by Tse Kwok Fai and has been with trainer Caspar Fownes for his past three starts.
Flying Supreme's toughest competition for the Bonus was presented by fellow NZB graduate Mark Up (Ishiguru x Wauwinet) who completed the season with HK$2,287,375 in earnings. With four wins and five places to his name from 15 career starts, Mark Up, also trained by Fownes, is establishing himself as a potential Derby prospect as a four-year-old.
Both of these promising young gallopers were purchased by the Hong Kong Jockey Club at the 2008 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale before going on to sell in the 2008 Hong Kong International Sale. Flying Supreme fetched NZ$260,000 for Waikato Stud at Karaka while Mark Up was purchased for NZ$210,000 from Brighthill Farm.
Won by the Hong Kong International Sale graduate that has the highest cumulative prize money earnings for their three-year-old season, the HK$1 Million Bonus is presented to the owner of the winning horse.

Mark Up as a yearling at Brighthill Farm January 2008
Firstly, 'Thank you' to everyone who turned out for our stallion parade yesterday, on what was a very cold, wet & blustery Waikato Day.
A crowd of over 100 visitors were treated throughout the afternoon to parades from Eagle Mountain, Perfectly Ready and Patapan.
The day was a huge success with lots of bookings being made to all three stallions, and lots of interests in shares which are being made available for sale in Eagle Mountain. If you wish to know further information about the Eagle Mountain Shares please click here, which will take you to our 'contact us' page.
New to the Brighthill stallion roster for 2010, and only in the country for a few weeks, Eagle Mountain posed for the crowd, and impressed everyone with his easy going temperament, lovely loose walk, and huge overstep...

Perfectly Ready - Australian Gr.1 Winning Sprinter.
The only stallion currently standing in NZ to have won an Australian Group race as a 2, 3 & 4YO.
Perfectly Ready's first crop of 2YOs are about to hit the tracks this coming season. We have a gorgeous black PR filly - a 3/4 sister to Gr.1 placed filly Deloraine currently in training with Linda Laing. Linda, a keen PR fan, has a couple of other Perfectly Ready fillies in her stable too - a filly 'Precise' (from Gr.1 winner - Golden Butterfly) in training for Welsh Rugby Captain Warren Gatland and friends.

Patapan - Champion Italian Sprinter - Winner of 16 races (1000m - 1200m)
6 wins as a 2YO.
First Crop of Yearlings to sell Karaka 2011.

We are pleased to offer a complimentary on-line test-mating facility for broodmares and our three resident stallions: Perfectly Ready, Eagle Mountain and Patapan.
Against each stallions webpage there is an option for 'FREE TEST-MATING'. I'm sure you will see that it is very similar to the Tesio pedigree matings that you are all very familiar with...
As in the past we are still more than happy to print out complimentary test-matings here in the office, and advise.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime.
