PERFECTLY READY

Ready For Perfection
Perfectly Ready took everything in his ample stride during an illustrious racing career that successfully spanned three seasons at the highest level and culminated in Group One glory.
A precocious juvenile, he trained on at three to beat the older horses in the Goodwood Handicap and maintained his form to an elite level in his final season.
Perfectly Ready was a Group winner at two, three and four and with similar ease has made a smooth transition to the breeding barn since his arrival at Brighthill Farm.
His stallion potential has been recognised by breeders and he has served high-quality books of more than 130 mares in each of his three seasons at stud.
A Perfect Start
Perfectly Ready's first crop of yearlings have been received with widespread acclaim and earned him coveted first season sire honours at the National Yearling Sales at Karaka.
He set the auction ring alight with his top-priced youngster - a half-brother to triple Group One winner Mufhasa - realising $290,000.
Perfectly Ready enjoyed a premier session average of $150,000 - over 12 times his service fee - and completed the sales series with an average of $60,000.
Strong and athletic with an early-maturing look of quality, his progeny have been snapped up by prominent buyers across Australasia and Asia.
Leading trainers have also been lavish in their praise of Perfectly Ready and his first representatives next season promise swift delivery of potential to performance.
Success is in his blood with his father More Than Ready a Champion Australian 2YO sire with back-to-back Golden Slipper winners and Magic Millions success.
A similar theme continues on Perfectly Ready's female side with his dam Elle Duccio a winning half-sister by the immortal Danehill to dual Group One winner Belle Du Jour.
It's the perfect time to take advantage of a rising stallion star - Group One performance, a rich and proven pedigree, an outstanding sales record and racing rewards ahead.

Brighthill Farm has secured the Australian group one sprinter Perfectly Ready (pictured) to begin stud duties at its Waikato-based stud this year. In a trail of negotiations which began six weeks ago, with the assistance of bloodstock agents Grant Prichard-Gordon, Badger Bloodstock and NZ based Michael Wallace , Brighthill Farm studmaster Nick King finalised the deal to bring Perfectly Ready to New Zealand when attending last week's Sydney Easter Yearling Sales.
'This is the perfect horse for New Zealand right now,' said King.
'With the Karaka Million two-year-old race now a focus for most breeders he slots in perfectly with what breeders will be looking for.
'They want an Aussie sprinter and to land a genuine Group One sprinter is a great result for us.
'He was a very good racehorse and he looks exactly what you'd expect a sprinting sire to look like.
'He's a very good looking horse and he's out of a Danehill mare which is important to breeders.'
Brighthill Farm will stand Perfectly Ready on behalf of his owners, Dr Tom Simon, of Vinery Stud, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Maktoum.
'Vinery Stud and Sheikh Khalifa will retain ownership of him, but there will be a small number of shares available,' said King.
Perfectly Ready will be the first son of Vinery Stud's shuttler More Than Ready to stand at stud in New Zealand and the second son in Australasia with Vinery Stud already being the home of his Gr I VRC Derby winner Benicio.
'We would dearly love to have Perfectly Ready at Vinery this year, but we have More Than Ready, Benicio and another Southern Halo in Dubleo so we felt he would not get the opportunities he so deserves,' said Vinery studmaster Peter Orton.
'Furthermore I have always believed New Zealand is the ideal place to stand him as his racetrack performance, conformation and pedigree will suit perfectly.'
Perfectly Ready won his juvenile debut at Moonee Valley and followed with a win in the Gr III MRC Blue Diamond Prelude before finishing third in the Gr I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.
He trained on as a three-year-old to run a very close second in the Gr I MVRC Manikato Stakes and was taken to Dubai for the Gr I Golden Shaheen Stakes and in his first start back from UAE he was an impressive winner of the Gr I SAJC Goodwood Handicap (1200m).
